The order of teaching phonics is designed to align with Jolly phonics. As I have trained with Jolly phonics before, I find Jolly phonics songs are practical and enjoyable for kindergarten students.
/r/ as in rabbit (Jolly phonics /r/ as in rag)
/m/ as in monkey (Jolly phonics /r/ as in meal)
/d/ as in drum
