The order of teaching phonics is designed to align with Jolly phonics. As I have trained with Jolly phonics before, I find Jolly phonics songs are practical and enjoyable for kindergarten students.
/k/ as c as in cat and k as in kangaroo (Jolly phonics song: /k/ as in castanet)
/e/ as in egg
/h/ as in horse (Jolly phonics song: /h/ as in hop)
